FrenchCultureNow.com is a dynamic online startup enterprise which is always looking for ambitious and enthusiastic writers, editors, webmasters, and marketers to help maximize our quality and impact. You don't have to speak or write French to join our team. We welcome skills regardless of age, race, and nationality.
The following positions are currently open:
• Assistant Editor (Intern). Duties include browsing the internet for content, editing and writing news summaries for publication on FrenchCultureNow.com. Work at your own pace from your computer at home or at school, and learn critical writing skills from experienced editors. If you can make a minimum commitment of at least 1 hour per day for 1 month, you will be eligible for a great letter of recommendation for your CV / resume. This unpaid internship position has flexible work hours (telecommute) and is great experience, ideal for journalism or Poli Sci students.
• Advertising Sales Manager. This freelance work involves selling FrenchCultureNow.com ads and sponsorships to businesses. Work from home or elsewhere at your own pace. Payment is generous, commensurate with results. Initiative and independance a must.
• Webmaster: Help develop the technical and design side of FrenchCultureNow.com, including new applications, design enhancements, email and newsletter campaigns, etc. Use your IT savvy to improve the FrenchCultureNow experience. This unpaid internship position has flexible work hours (telecommute) and is great experience, resulting in letters of recommendation.
• Marketing Manager. Help FrenchCultureNow.com get its message to the broadest possible audience via current technology. Responsibilities include search engine optimization and other strategies to attract traffic and visitorship. This unpaid internship position has flexible work hours (telecommute) and is great experience, resulting in letters of recommendation.
